n     Benefit of NDC money

n     Opportunity to forge partnership solutions to problems in the area

n     NDC to target the young

n     Drugs is also a health issue

n     CCTV in town centre would alleviate problems

n     Programme of renovation to improve the look and feel of the area

n     Drug abuse around young people

n     Apathy is biggest enemy

n     People will lose interest over a ten year period

n     Finding community members willing to run programme

n     What will happen when the professional agencies step back and hand over control?
