Comments.
In the New Deal for Old Heywood we want young (and not so young! )people to be involved.
As a start some of the students at Heywood Community School have been asked for their ideas. Here is a selection of their comments:
'I would like to see Queens Park lake sorted out because I’ve been going to Queens Park for sometime and the water is mucky and the fish need clean water the anglers will not stand it anymore. I go to different places like Pilsworth and Deep Valley because they are much cleaner and fresher.'
'As a youth what I would like in Heywood in the future is more discos, a drop in centre and more youth clubs.'
'As a teenager I would like to see more advice for teenagers of our age groups on drugs, more youth clubs and more for us to do.'
